Cannings Free-Range Butchers is looking for a cleaner to join the team and be a part of a business that is leading the way in high welfare, free range butchery and deli products. Currently our Tooronga store is recruiting.

- The purpose of the Cleaner/Wash up position is to assist with the daily cleaning and reset of the shop ready for the next day of trading. The position is casual with shifts available during the week and on weekends in the mid-afternoon to evening. No experience required, as this is a perfect opportunity for a legend who is wanting to gain experience in the workforce, whilst working in a modern, supportive, clean, and vibrant environment. We are looking for a team member who is comfortable standing, bending, reaching and is ready to jump in and work as part of a supportive team.

Duties include:
- Consistently following the shift schedule and workflow
- Effectively cleaning equipment, floors and surfaces
- Dismantling and cleaning equipment thoroughly and safely
- Using cleaning chemicals safely and to specifications (water temperatures and solution ratios maintained)
- Correct disposal of different types of waste
- Orderly organisation of cleaned items for easy use the following day
- Maintaining food safety standards in accordance with policies and procedures
- Diligently following cleanliness and sanitation procedures
- Actively working to protect the safety of yourself and your team mates
