Description
  • To commence Term 1, 2025
  • Part-time (0.6 FTE), ongoing position

Teachers at Ballarat Grammar School are responsible for empowering students with:

Skills And Experiences

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Ability to demonstrate and authentically promote Ballarat Grammar’s values. 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in teaching Mandarin Chinese Language.
  • An excellent understanding of Chinese culture.
  • Be fluent in Mandarin Chinese / Chinese.
  • Be familiar with pinyin and be able to read and write simplified characters.
  • Effective strategies to gather, analyse and act on student data to improve learning outcomes for each student.
  • Knowledge of differentiation, feedback and assessment strategies which enhance learning.
  • Be committed to the exploration of critical thinking and inquiry through the pursuit of excellence and understanding.
