Skills:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong understanding of child development principles
Responsibilities:
- Engage with children in meaningful learning activities that promote their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore, learn, and grow
- Collaborate with other educators to plan and implement educational programs that meet the individual needs of each child
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child's development
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards for early childhood education
Qualifications:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
- Current Working with Children Check
- Minimum 1 year experience working in an early childhood education setting
