We are looking for casual part time staff for our food stall within Swan Settlers Market, Herne Hill. This is a weekend position, with regular Fridays. Experience in hospitality is preferred but not essential as the right character is more important. Duties include welcoming market visitors, answering their questions with a smile, processing customer orders and payments on the POS, serving food from the bain marie, liaising with the grill chef as appropriate, but also including setting up for service, dishwashing, sweeping, table clearing, and general all round kitchen duties.
We are a friendly team, offering regular hours to the right person with the opportunity for more hours as the business continues to grow. Juniors are welcome to apply but must be able to let go of mobile phones during the shift, and remove headphones to ensure you hear the customers when they speak to you.
