Your Role:

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will assist our Director of Nursing in effective theatre utilisation as well as nurturing a positive workplace culture. From time to time, you will be required to support the Day Hospital by stepping into higher duties during times of annual leave or when required.

Qualifications and skills we value:

We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, compassionate, supportive, and a team promoter. Ideally you will bring the following to the role:

  • Dedicated Experience: Experience in leading teams both clinically and organisationally
  • Industry Know-How: Experience in clinical peri-operative nursing.
  • Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in surgical equipment related to IVF/Fertility
  • Patient Focus: A supportive and thoughtful approach to patient care.
  • Precision Matters: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

In addition to the above, we also require:

  • Bachelor of Nursing Degree
  • Postgraduate studies
  • IVF experience (preferred but not required)
  • Practices in accordance with:
    • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses.
    • National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and functions according to the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses (ACORN) Standards.
