Description

Working within a dynamic and collaborative team, this role is perfect for someone who wants to continue working or transition to a tax specialist role. 

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse client portfolio with clients ranging from some of the largest private groups in Australia to small and medium-cap ASX listed companies. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining excellent client engagement and relationships
  • Working directly with tax partners to provide a broad range of value adding advice across a range of taxes 
  • Preparation and/or review of Private Binding Rulings 
  • Preparation and/or review of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns  
  • Preparation and/or review of Fringe Benefit Tax Returns  
  • Assistance with the preparation and/or review of quarterly tax update sides
  • Assistance with the preparation of R&D tax incentive applications
  • Assisting in delivery of technical training 
  • Consulting to various internal divisions regarding taxation matters 


Skills And Experiences

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a similar discipline
  • Experience in tax/accounting experience working with business clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player attitude and ability to form relationships easily 
  • High-level of professionalism, enthusiasm and conscientiousness
  • Hold or be studying toward a Chartered Accountant qualification
