Summary:
We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed electrician and assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This is an entry-level position that offers on-the-job training and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the electrical industry, however we are also looking for apprentices at any stage in their apprenticeship as well.
Job Details
Hours: 38 hour weeks.
Rate: Dependent on your age and where you are in your apprenticeship.
Start Date: within the next few weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Install electrical components such as switches, outlets, and circuit breakers
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and make necessary repairs
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Maintain tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Qualifications:
- Wanting to start their Cert 3 in Electrotechnology or already enrolled
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing
