Aspen Medical has been contracted by Bechtel to provide essential medical services to the Pluto Train 2 Project. You will be required to provide medical services between two clinics and deliver nationally accredited training.

Role Overview
As an Advanced Care Paramedic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of personnel across the Pluto Train 2 Project. Working across two clinics, you’ll deliver comprehensive medical services and nationally accredited training, helping to maintain a high standard of care and operational readiness. This is a full-time, fixed-term position available until January 2027.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • provide emergency care, including basic and advanced life support, and respond to accidents and multiple traumas
  • assist with routine medical cases, perform regular training, and participate in emergency drills
  • coordinate patient transportation and medical evacuations, including rescue from difficult locations
  • offer clinical advice and deliver occupational health services, including emergency response, health assessments, and wellness programs
  • manage site clinic activities, ensure equipment and supplies are maintained, and maintain medical records
  • participate in the Emergency Response Team and support overall site health, safety, and emergency preparedness efforts

Mandatory Qualifications, Certifications, and Competencies:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
  • Current Advanced Life Support Certification
  • Current HLTPAT005 – Collect Specimens for Drugs of Abuse Testing
  • Current unrestricted (manual) Drivers License
  • Experience in Occupational Health or Resource/Mining Industry
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment


Desirable Qualifications:

  • 4WD Training Certification
