ACFI Nurse

  • ACFI Nurse to join expanding clinical leadership team

  • Provide education and support for best practice care
  • ACFI for over 200 residents

The successful applicant should:

  • Will have qualifications and / or experience in Aged Care ACFI work (Minimum 2 years)
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a valid national police clearance.
  • Demonstrate high standard of practice as a physiotherapist with a strong knowledge of the Aged Care industry and the new Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Should be innovative, digitally savvy with a knowledge of technology and be proficient in and have knowledge or be willing to learn the electronic resident care planning system
  • Will be highly motivated, organised and thrives on building and maintaining relationships.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive interpersonal and working relationships with all staff.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to work in a team environment is vital.
  • Demonstrated commitment to respecting values, culture, preference and spiritual beliefs of residents and their families
  • Skills in dementia care and CALD, especially working with residents from an Italian community would be highly desirable
  • Be a people person, have leadership skills and a passion for clinical leadership
