Are you interested in becoming an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter (to commence January 2025), working with cutting edge technology in automation and robotics. You will be rotating throughout different customer sites located in the North / North West Melbourne.
This position is ideal for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice part way through their Apprenticeship or mature age 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice to commence January 2025. This would ideally suit someone that has a passion for all things electrical and mechanical.

We are currently offering apprenticeships in:
Mechanical - (Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade)
Upon completion, you will be fully certified, with experience in complex industrial environments and have access to a variety of career options across the national Dematic business including: Field Service or On-site Maintenance Technician, Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Project Site Supervisor positions.
About You
We are keen to hear from you if you are:
A current 2nd or 3rd Year Mechanical Apprentice who is part way through an apprenticeship or a mature age 2nd or 3rd Year Mechanical Apprentice seeking a career change to start 2025
Motivated and willing to learn, with a genuine interest for all things Mechanical
Passionate about robotics, gadgets, gidgets, gaming, automation, electronics, mechanical systems or cars
A good communicator with strengths in mathematics or science
A positive attitude, and willingness to tackle anything that comes your way
An Australian citizen or a permanent resident of Australia with full working rights
A current Driver’s License and own transport is preferred
Our Application Process

Step Two – An informal initial phone chat to get to know you a little better
Step Three – Face to face interview and pre-employment checks. This includes medical with drug and alcohol testing, police background checks and references.
