Job Description

Do you enjoy troubleshooting and repairing machines? ALDI is looking for Warehouse Mechanics who can maintain and repair all our equipment within the Distribution Centre. As a mechanic, you are one of the integral components in our operation. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and capacity to multi-task will keep the wheels turning.

What does the role involve?

  • Keeping all mechanical equipment running smoothly and safely.
  • Coordinating regularly with the Maintenance Engineer or Section Leader to manage workloads effectively.
  • Scheduling and carrying out preventative maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
  • Operating machinery safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

  • People with forklift and equipment maintenance and repair experience preferred
  • Light vehicle mechanical or auto electrician experience will be beneficial and on the job training provided.
  • Self-motivated individuals who can work autonomously, but also work well with a team.
  • Confident communicators who can interact positively with others.
  • Adaptable and flexible professionals who can handle unexpected changes.
  • Individuals who can stay composed and efficient under pressure.
