This role will suit you if you have a small-medium sized pet and you're happy to sit and engage in conversation.

-Roles across Newcastle and Hunter region, Broadmeadow, Belmont, Mereweather, New Lambton, Cardiff, Hamilton, Mayfield and surrounding areas-

As you're bringing your pet into a care environment with elderly people, we ask that your pet is:

- Calm and gentle in nature
- Up-to-date with vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas
- Nails should be short and blunt. Freshly cut nails can be sharp if not filed down.
- Dogs should be kept on a lead always

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
