If you are someone who values the importance of regular exercise, would you consider sharing your skills with people living with dementia who are frail and elderly?

If you’ve ever done Zumba or love to dance in the shower, would you consider sharing that sense of fun with our residents? All you need is a sense of fun, ability to create a music playlist and sensitivity to people with limited mobility.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
