Accompany residents from HammondCare Scone as they enjoy short outings around Scone in our mini-bus. You will be accompanied with a mini-bus driver and care staff who will look after the resident's personal care needs.                  

You'll suit this role if you are comfortable to:

- Be a safe and confident driver to assist staff during bus outings
- Attend full/half day excursions
- Provide social support and interact during activities

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

Bus trips generally run for 1-2 hours between 930-1130am and 1-3pm, we can discuss a suitable day of the week or fortnight that suits your availability.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • C class drivers licence
