Visual Arts Teacher

The Role

Marcellin College, a leading Catholic boy's school, presents an opportunity for a Visual Arts Teacher to join our team on a full time basis commencing Term 1, 2025.

We are seeking a passionate and committed teacher with the ability to teach creative and fine arts. The College also offers Design, Media / Photography or Film.

You will be someone who is able to model excellent teaching practices while building the capabilities of our learners through evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning. 

The ability to develop inclusive and supportive learning environments, foster positive relationships and communicate with staff, students, and parents in a timely and respectful manner is essential to the role. 

To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in your specialist teaching areas as well as: 

• A willingness to uphold the vision and values of Marcellin College
• Role model and inspire a passion for Visual Arts in all students
• An understanding of contemporary teaching and learning pedagogies
• A commitment to working collaboratively as a part of a team 
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills 
• An ability to use ICT to facilitate and enrich student learning and engagement 
• A commitment to pastoral care and meeting the social and emotional wellbeing needs of students 
• Current VIT Registration
