Veterinarian - Greencross Warilla - Saturdays ONLY

Calling all vets wanting to pick up an additional Saturday shift once per month!

Our Warilla team strives for clinical excellence and offers only the best care for our patients, along with a positive culture, and we're dedicated to supporting each other and our community each and every day. We're a busy practice with a loyal and regular client base and exposure to a variety of medical and surgical cases. To better support our fabulous patients and their families, we are looking for an additional vet to work one Saturday per month. 

The clinic is spacious, clean and organised, with modern equipment including digital x-ray, IM3 dental machine, full internal lab to run CBC, electrolytes and biochemistry, multiparameter monitoring devices and blood pressure monitoring. We have generous sized consult rooms allowing for patient, client and your comfort, large prep room area, surgery room and separate dog and cat rooms.

We're also part of the large south coast group of other Greencross clinics, so there are opportunities to work across Emergency and General Practice within Greencross, within our large, purpose-built hospital with experience vet and nurse team. This means NO AFTER HOURS so you can be confident you'll have a healthy work-life balance is maintained.

Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. Collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues is always welcomed.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au

This role is best suited to a vet with at least 2 years experience and confident working in a sole charge environment.
