Company Description

The team at Mount Gravatt are looking for a passionate, who thrives in a fast-paced clinic, to join their experienced and dynamic team. 

Working here you will join a team of two vets; each with over 8 years experience. We have excellent, qualified support staff who are led by our Practice Manager. 

The case load here is varied. You will enjoy seeing routine wellness right through to comples soft tissue surgeries such as foreign bodies and cystotomies. 

The clinic is well fitted out, which allows us to provide an excellent standard of care to our clients and their pets; our clients value our work and allow us to work up cases.

Due to our close relationship with Woolloongabba Animal Emergency Centre, which is easily accessible for our clients, our team enjoy not having to work after hours or on-call. The clinic is closed on Sundays.

Greencross Mount Gravatt is co-located with a Petbarn retail store; we have a growing client base due to the cross-referral from PetBarn.

Job Description

Greencross Vets is a veterinary care network across Australia and New Zealand, with 166 Vet Clinics and 22 emergency and Specialist Referral Hospitals. Our 3000+ strong veterinary team are committed to providing the highest standards of care for pets and their owners.

This roles offers the flexibility to work full or part time hours. We are looking for a Vet who enjoys consulting and carrying out medical workups and who is able to perform routine surgeries.

If you are have a special interest we will foster and encourage this. 

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a BVSc or DVM degree through a University that is recognised by the AVBC with accreditation,
