You will be working within a team of 4 experienced vets in a friendly, relaxed environment where a good sense of humour is appreciated. As a busy clinic, you will experience a dynamic workload that includes both consults and surgeries, offering variety and engagement in your daily responsibilities. Additionally, there is an option to gain extensive surgical experience under the mentorship of our current vet director. Job Description

What you’ll be doing each day

  • Conducting thorough physical examinations and diagnosing health conditions in pets.
  • Performing routine surgical procedures with precision and care.
  • Administering vaccinations and prescribing appropriate medications.
  • Providing expert guidance on preventive health care, nutrition, and wellness.
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
  • Collaborating with our veterinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Communicating effectively with pet owners, offering support and education regarding their pets' health.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
