Veterinarian - Greencross Ferntree Gully

At Greencross Ferntree Gully, our clinic thrives with the support of 6 dedicated nurses and 3 skilled vets, typically working with 2 vets and 3 nurses each day to provide top-notch care. Our facility is well-equipped with 2 anaesthetic machines and state-of-the-art x-ray technology, ensuring we can deliver the highest standard of care. Additionally, we offer 2 modern consult rooms, designed to create a comfortable and efficient environment for both our patients and team. Under the leadership of our Vet Director, Dr. Amy Freestone, who has a keen interest in all aspects of small animal medicine, our team receives exceptional guidance and support.

We’re looking for a veterinarian with at least 2 years of experience, who is comfortable with sole charge and basic surgeries. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, enthusiastic, and eager to contribute to our close-knit team. This position primarily covers Thursday shifts, with occasional Fridays and Saturdays as needed.

This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 1 year clinical experience post graduation. A flexible and adaptable approach, passion for companion animals, exceptional organisational, communication and customer service skills and a commitment to working in a team environment.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualifications from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. For further information, please refer to https://avbc.asn.au
