Located in the heart of Wollongong, Greencross Vets Crown Street offers easy access to beautiful beaches, ocean-view cafés, and scenic walking tracks overlooking the Illawarra. With Sydney city only an easy one hour drive away and close proximity to public transport, our location provides both convenience and an exceptional lifestyle.

Our clinic boasts a team of 7 skilled nurses and 2.5 veterinarians, committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care. We proudly hold Stress Free Accreditation, and our team are very experienced in dealing with highly anxious patients and assisting clients to manage these concerns with their much loved pets. Our nurses and veterinarians are encouraged to advance their knowledge through paid study leave and our extensive UNCAPPED CE suite, affording our patients a team-based approach to care. 

Equipped with cutting-edge technology, including ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, and biochemistry, electrolyte & hematology machines, we ensure precise diagnostics and treatment for our patients. With 2 consult rooms, a cat ward, dog ward, cattery, sterile theatre, prep area, and internal lab, our clinic is fully equipped to cater to the needs of our diverse clientele.
NO AFTER HOURS are ever required, as we’re close to ARH Wollongong, providing easy access to 24-hour emergency care and CT referral services.

Using evidence-based diagnoses, therapies and recommended courses of treatment, you are empowered to manage your cases with the mentoring and support of our experienced team. Collaboration and mentoring both to and from your colleagues is always welcomed.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Veterinary Science qualification from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (AVBC) and/or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Small Animal veterinary care is preferred.
