Vet Nurse - Greencross Helensvale Square

We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Part-time Vet Nurse!

At Helensvale Square we have a friendly clientele, both well-established long-standing clients as well as lots of new faces recently finding their way to us - we pride ourselves on the close relationships we have with our clients!

Helensvale Square is 4 full-time vet clinic with a great team. We are a busy practice so great for nurses that love a fast pace and don't shy away from learning something new! We've created a positive, friendly and balanced environment - we all get on really well and strive for a supportive and motivating workplace culture! We are all open to learn and willing to teach - and there's always a laugh to be had!

About your new role:

• Part-time role undertaking general nursing tasks, including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology and emergency and critical care
• Performing minor procedures when required 
• Maintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment
• Reception duties as required

About your skills and your experience:

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with min. 2+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures
• Driven with the ability to work with initiative, as part of a team and independently 
• A calm and friendly presence
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of RX Works ideal but not essential
