Flinders Christian Community College is a co-educational, non–denominational College with campuses located at Tyabb, Carrum Downs, and Mt. Martha offering education from K – 12.

Applications are invited for the position of Teacher - Waymaker Program at our Carrum Downs Campus.

The Waymaker Program will open in January 2025 to deliver high-quality education for students who cannot attend normal school due to anxiety, depression or PTSD.  The Centre is located on the Carrum Downs Campus and is intended to provide a differentiated learning program in a counter-stress environment better suited to the needs and routines of these students than a mainstream setting.  We seek to see these students grow and thrive in their social connectedness, wellbeing and learning, through belonging, believing and becoming in a way that equips them to live a full and purposeful life.  

The successful candidate will be a caring and passionate teacher with a strong understanding of (and commitment to) Christian education.  Recent trauma-informed teaching experience with disengaged Secondary students and/or a relevant post-graduate qualification would be highly regarded.
