Spend time with an elderly resident living in an aged care home in Picton. During your visit you could spend time chatting over a cuppa, complete a jigsaw puzzle, playing cards or even taking a stroll around the garden. You'll help provide companionship and maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.

We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people. HammondCare is an approved provider of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS), funded by the Australian Government.

Requirements
18 years or older ā¢ National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare ā¢ Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination will be required (Two doses)
Ideally you'll be available one hour per week for 6-12 months or longer. We'd be happy to chat with you about a suitable day and time during the week between the hours of 9am-5pm.
