On-site
North Turramurra, New South Wales, Australia
We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of residents at North Turramurra Aged Care village. Pets are always a welcome visit and the residents would enjoy your company as well as your furry friend.

As you're bringing your pet into a care environment with frail and elderly residents, we ask that your pet is:

- Calm and gentle in nature

- Up-to-date with vaccinations and treatment of worms and fleas

- Nails should be short and blunt. Freshly cut nails can be sharp if not filed down.

- Dogs should be kept on a lead always.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the residents you are matched with.
