HammondCare is passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. Our Community Palliative & Supportive Care Service provides palliative care and end of life care for patients who wish to remain at home in the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

Palliative Care patients often find need of social support as their disease progresses. We’re looking for friendly and caring volunteers over the age of 18 to visit palliative care patients in their homes to offer social support. Typically, this will be once per week for between 1-4 hours depending on the needs of the patient.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself.
