The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in North Turramurra.
We are seeking volunteers to accompany residents to outings, as a Social Volunteer you will provide transportation and join a resident in a visit to a local café, men's shed, shopping centre and other locations near by.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the residents you are matched with.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time between Monday to Friday, 10-12 for a fortnightly outing.
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check • Your own Car, valid license, clean driving record, annually renewed Rego and a compulsory third party insurance.
