The Client & The Role

Join a progressive and large business in the Sydney west as a Senior Tax Manager in their specialised tax team and work with a wide range of medium to large sized clients. You will be responsible for a successful team and manage client affairs, delivering specialist taxation advice and value-added compliance services.

Further Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare and review advice, reports and other client documents using applicable income tax law that supports the opinion/conclusion
• Be responsible for implementation of delivered advice (e.g tax structuring strategies)
• Identify risks and apply global and local quality control processes and risk procedures
• Corporate tax compliance, including the review of income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculations
• Undertake business development activities to promote the firm and its services
• Staff management – performance tracking, WIP, budgeting etc

The Applicant

• 8-10 years’ experience in Corporate Tax (industry or public practice)
• Tertiary qualifications and CA or CPA in place
• Managerial experience is essential
• Experience with APS Tax Manager (desirable)
• Service minded and client relationships skills
• Team player with ability to work autonomously
