Senior Tax Accountant

Our Client:

Alto is a team of accountants and advisors dedicated to providing practical, tax-effective advice to help clients achieve their business and personal goals. They assist clients in focusing on growing their business while protecting them against financial loss. Alto is now looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team!

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax return and financial statement preparation for sole traders, partnerships, companies and trusts
• Tax planning for large groups.
• Strong knowledge on CGT including small business concessions.
• Strong knowledge on Div 7A legislation and application.
• Experience with Payroll tax, FBT, GST, SGC
• Preparation of dashboard reporting/management accounts and cashflow budgeting.
• Experience in general purpose accounts and advantage.
• Experience with QBCC an advantage.

About You:

You will have the ability to independently manage a client portfolio and workflow. Experience in mentoring junior team members is an advantage, and proactive in building client relationships and seeking opportunities to assist.

Requirements:

• Completed CA/ CPA
• 5 years + experience in public practice accounting
• Exceptional communication and problem solving skills.
• Team player with motivated and committed attitude
• Experience with Xero
