Spread Joy, by joining our Volunteer Team!

The ACVVS program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in the Central Coast.

From sport to art, pets to gardening, walking to yoga, baking to craft, movies to music, coffee to crosswords… whatever you love, you can share it with someone who loves it too.

As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community.

We are seeking friendly people to volunteer and spend time visiting elderly clients living in their own home on the Central Coast to enjoy a game of chess or play a board game.  During your weekly or fortnightly visits you’ll see what a difference your time socialising can make, perhaps take a short walk or sit and chat over a cuppa.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of elderly people.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
