Retail Sales and Service Technician

Our client has stores across all states in Australia and is an industry leader in the retail of batteries and quality accessories. They have an exciting, full- time opportunity for a Sales and Service Technician to join their busy store located in Townsville.

The Job:

You will be part of an energetic team of car-lovers who enjoy working together and deliver exceptional customer service. Your role is to give customers friendly and knowledgeable guidance, offering great solutions that will close the sale. Training will be provided in all departments of the sales floor.

Whilst your day-to-day role will be in the retail shop, testing and fitting batteries, there is an on-call roster for emergency callouts. 

Essential Skills:

To be considered for this role you need the following skills and attributes:

• Retail sales experience
• Strong auto parts / electronics knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
• Exceptional customer service skills 
• Team player, who enjoys working with others
• Problem solving capabilities
• Attention to detail
• Process driven
• Pride in personal presentation
• Able to work weekends and a shared on-call roster

Having a passion for cars and previous experience selling automotive parts will be highly regarded.
