Transition To Specialty Program (Intensive Care & Cardiothoracic units)

Are you seeking a transition into a Critical Care speciality?

We are eager to offer Division 1 Registered Nurses the opportunity to undertake a 10 WEEK Critical Care (ICU or Cardiac) introductory course. This fantastic opportunity includes a lecture series covering patient assessment, haemodynamic monitoring, respiratory management and the deteriorating patient.

 

COURSE DETAILS

Pre-requisite:                    Division 1 Registered Nurse, 2 years post Graduate (minimum)

Course dates:                    Monday 7 October– Sunday 15th December 2024

(Minimum 58 clinical hours /fortnight)

Post course:  Possibility of ongoing employment within Ramsay Health Care and an opportunity to undertake a Graduate Certificate of Critical Care - Intensive Care stream or Cardiac stream in conjunction with our partner, Deakin University, Feb 2025

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum two (2) years’ post-graduate nursing experience

 

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $34.39 - $ 47.55 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8) [FTE $67,957.76 - $93,965.04]
