Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2C or RN/M1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.
The Role
In the Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) role at this level, you will provide expert nursing and/or midwifery care across diverse health service settings, building on your experience and further education to advance from a competent to a proficient practitioner. You’ll be accountable for maintaining high standards in your own practice, overseeing delegated activities, and mentoring less experienced staff. While the role remains primarily clinical, you'll also take on tailored portfolio responsibilities, which will be aligned with your career development goals as outlined in your performance review. This is your opportunity to enhance your professional growth while making a significant impact on patient care and staff development.
As a Registered Nurse (RN/M1) at this level, you'll embark on a journey from novice to expert, providing essential nursing and midwifery services within dynamic health service settings. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and enhance your skills through ongoing professional development and hands-on experience. Embrace a role where you’re accountable for delivering exceptional care and guiding others, all while advancing your professional practice and making a meaningful impact in your field.
