About the Role

St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne (SVHM) is seeking a number of passionate and experienced Theatre Scrub/Scout Registered Nurses to join our teams across multiple SVHM locations.

You will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing environment. These positions are critical position within SVHM and are responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care within a specific area in Perioperative Services under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager.


Classifications for this position will range from YP3 – YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601 per annum pro rata).

You will also have:

  • Current condition free registration with AHPRA

  • Demonstrated previous experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating theatre

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About Perioperative Services - Fitzroy

St Vincent's Perioperative Suite houses 12 theatres, a Day Procedures Unit, 3 Endoscopy Suites and 2 Post Anaesthetic Care Areas. We undertake over 13,000 procedures per year in a vast range of highly specialised and complex specialities over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week.
