Penola War Memorial Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team and manage the care of acute patients, aged care residents and emergency department presentations. Role Overview:

As a Registered Nurse at Penola War Memorial Hospital, you will:

  • Provide high-quality nursing and/or midwifery services across various health service settings.
  • Develop your professional practice through continuous learning, experience, and professional development.
  • Accept accountability for your own standards of care and oversee activities delegated to others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate and competent nursing care to patients, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of practice.
  • Utilise and expand your knowledge and skills in a variety of health service settings.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your capabilities and advance your practice.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining and improving your own care standards and support delegated tasks.

Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate. We are looking for registered nurses who have experience working in acute, aged care and emergency department settings.
