You will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidenced based, recovery-oriented services across the multi-disciplinary Local Health Network (LHN) Mental Health (MH) service appropriate to the needs of the consumer and the local community. You will consolidate knowledge and skills and develop in capability through continuous professional development and experience. 

We provide health care services within the Mount Gambier, Bordertown, Naracoorte, Penola, Millicent, Keith, Kingston SE and Lucindale areas. Our health services are well established with technology and infrastructure to support modern telehealth services. There is the potential to base yourself in a large regional city or in one of the many beautiful surrounding towns and regions.

About You

You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold or be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. With demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards, you will demonstrate a commitment to providing patient and family-centred care. Your effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills will equip you to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise workloads.

Limestone Coast Local Health Network (LCLHN) provides a wide range of health care services across the Limestone Coast region, covering a large geographical area which consists of the Upper and Lower South East, and extends all the way to the Victorian border.

Services we provide in the region include accident and emergency, day and inpatient surgery, aboriginal health, obstetric services, community health and aged care services.  We have facilities located within Mount Gambier, Bordertown, Kingston, Millicent, Naracoorte and Penola.
