About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Mallee Ward team as a Clinical Nurse, where you will be responsible for:

  • Provide proficient, person centred, nursing care.
  • Monitoring client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved daily.
  • Ensure that services are planned and co-ordinated with other disciplines or agencies to meet mental health care needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Must be enrolled in an approved University mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health nursing practice.
  • Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within the clinical setting.
