About the Role

You will work as part of the multidisciplinary to provide nursing care for diagnostic and interventional imaging to both St Vincent’s public and private hospitals. You will perform both scrub and scout nursing roles as is required in CT, US, FL, PET, MRI Nuclear Medicine and DSA modalities. You will respond to clinical changes in patients conditions and initiates consultation with relevant medical/nursing and multi-disciplinary team as required. Seeks guidance from senior nurse when limited by own level of expertise

Classifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 pro rata per annum).

Your Contribution

  • Degree in general nursing which meets the registration requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia

  • Current Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Previous Medical Imaging Experience (at least 3 years)

  • Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

Medical Imaging spans 3 sites at present, and strives for evidence based practice. We work together in a multidisciplinary team with administrative, radiologists, radiographers, sonographers and Nuclear Medicine Technologists, to collaborate and push for the best outcomes for our patients.
