About the Opportunity:
St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba is the largest acute private hospital on the Darling Downs. We are a 189-bed facility with highly experienced and skilled staff that work as a team to deliver the highest standard of healthcare to all our patients. Our services include medical, surgical, maternity, paediatric, emergency, cardiac and rehabilitation. We are supported by comprehensive allied health services and advanced medical and diagnostic services. Pathology, radiology and pharmacy are also available on site, and our emergency department is open 24 hours, seven days a week.
As a Registered Nurse in our Day Surgery / Endoscopy unit you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients. You will provide quality patient care through clinical nursing practice, promoting collaborative relationships amongst the health care team and maintaining a customer-focused approach to nursing across the continuum of care.

Things that work for us:
Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) as a Registered Nurse
At least 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a Day Surgery/ Endoscopy environment
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Current clinical knowledge that would apply to Day Surgery/ Endoscopy procedures and the ability to apply the relevant hospital policies in all aspects of client care
Be skilled at balancing the demands of multiple patients
Willingness to be a positive team member with an attitude to support others and problem solve efficiently
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements
