St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside located in Chermside is approximately 10km’s from the Brisbane CBD. We are a leading acute tertiary hospital committed to delivering exceptional care and are currently expanding our cardiothoracic surgical lists.

About the Opportunity:

As a St Vincent’s Registered Nurse, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated clinical team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for our patients – those who entrust us with their care.

We have career opportunities for experienced individuals with current or recent cardiothoracic scrub/scout/anaesthetic experience to join the team in the following roles:

  • Registered Nurse – Cardiothoracic Scrub /Scout

  • Registered Nurse – Cardiac Catheter Laboratory – Scrub / Scout / Monitor

  • Registered Nurse – Cardiac Anaesthetic Nurse

Previous experience with minimally invasive procedures and TAVI procedures will be highly regarded.

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential

  • Willingness to be able to work on a permanent part time basis (all days, morning and afternoon shifts available)

  • Ability to work in an on-call capacity/arrangement - when required

  • Effective communication skills at all levels enabling you to achieve best practice and contribute to our positive culture

  • Recent experience in the speciality area you are interested in applying for, and appropriate qualifications and registration

  • You will understand the importance of providing quality care, and you feel rewarded by creating a genuine impact

  • Well-developed interpersonal skills that provide the support and nurture for our patients and organisation’s needs.
