Job Description:

We are looking for a special kind of person – a St Vincent’s kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.

As a Registered Nurse you will work in partnership with a number of individuals and professionals to ensure the health & clinical needs and informed choices of residents are met. You will undertake clinical assessments, develop care plans, deliver care and respond to clinical needs as well as oversee the work of Care Partners and the administering of medication as part of a supportive, dedicated team at St Vincent’s Care Services Heathcote.

St Vincent's Care Services Heathcote (locally known as John Paul Village) is a 213-bed facility located 35km from Sydney's CBD. It is situated next to the Royal National Park, one of Sydney's real treasures!

Things that work for us:

  • Nursing Registration with AHPRA is essential

  • 2+ years’ nursing practice with residential aged care experience highly regarded

  • Must be available to work…shifts on a…basis

  • Excellent leadership, customer service and communication skills

  • Experience with AutumnCare (or similar software) with ability to maintain excellent records

  • Understanding of Aged Care, resident rights/responsibilities with ability to follow the care plan

  • National Police Certificate: NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
