About the role and where you will be working:

Our residential care team, at Joseph Cooke House are currently looking for a Registered Nurse to coordinate and lead the delivery of client-focused care. 

Joseph Cooke House can comfortably cater for up to 57 residents and is located in Shelley. It is centrally located near a variety of amenities including a post office, chemist, bowls club and community Centre.

As one of our Registered Nurses, you'll be expected to lead small clinical teams that provide high standards of person-centered care to all our residents. This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to improve both their clinical and leadership skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervise and direct the delivery of client focused care delivered by staff
  • Assess the total health needs of clients and document results thoroughly.
  • Develop individual care plans in consult with clients and significant others
  • Comply with all relevant legislation and policies.
  • Uphold the organization's values and principles in all areas of service delivery

 

About you:

As a Registered Nurse, you'll hold a valid AHPRA registration and possess great interpersonal and communication skills. You'll be detail oriented and can work well in both a team environment and independently. You can apply your clinical knowledge to any given situation and achieve quality client outcomes. Experience in Aged Care is ideal, but not necessary. Most importantly, you'll have a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.


To be considered for this role, you’ll need:-

  • A valid AHPRA registration
  • An understanding of Commonwealth Aged Care standards & Quality of Care principles
  • Good knowledge of AN-ACC requirements
  • Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
