Job Description

At Epworth, our General Medicine teams play a vital role in the well-being of thousands of patients who may be suffering from debilitating or distressing conditions. A wide range of acute and chronic medical problems are treated with advanced care, technology and services by multidisciplinary teams.

Opportunities are available for permanent full-time and part-time registered nurse roles, at both Epworth Richmond and Epworth Freemasons (East Melbourne). We are also open to applications from experienced EN's for our gen med ward at Freemasons

You will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional patient outcomes and experiences through a nursing approach that focuses on contemporary practice and continuous improvement. Professional development and further education are encouraged.

Epworth Richmond

Epworth Freemasons
Located in East Melbourne, close to public transport and the CBD, Epworth Freemasons provides a range of world-class health services.  in our 37-bed acute general medical ward As one of Victoria's leading maternity hospitals, Epworth Freemasons specialises in women’s and men’s health services including breast and gynaecological surgery, endoscopy and urology. Epworth Freemasons also offers comprehensive cancer care, and a full range of surgical services, including robotic assisted surgery, orthopaedics and ICU care.

Qualification & Experience required for our new team
•    Have current AHPRA Registered registration
•    Two years minimum experience in acute/ general medical setting, working as an RN/EN
•    Demonstrate a strong, supportive, collaborative and engaging style
•    Well-developed proactive time management and prioritisation skills
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Commitment to your professional development
•    Ability to work within a team focused environment
•    Passion about patient centred care grounded in high quality clinical outcomes
•    We welcome applicants from sub-acute, medical and surgical environments
