The Role

Kestrel Recruitment is looking for a qualified Carpenter to ensure the quality and efficiency of all carpentry work undertaken by our client, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of wooden structures and fixtures while ensuring 100% customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the customer experience is maximized through high-quality delivery of carpentry services on time and within budget.
• Understand and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
• Maintain awareness of new methods, materials, and equipment to improve the delivery of services to customers.
• Install, maintain, and repair wooden structures such as doors, windows, furniture, and cabinetry.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Keep clients informed of tasks completed and/or time frames to complete tasks.
• Express ideas on technical problems clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

About You

• Great attention to detail
• Organised and productive
• Meet organisational standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• Current Driver’s Licence
• Completion of Certificate III Carpentry (building and construction)
• White card prior to commencement
