The role

Property and Support services is the engine room that keeps us going, a dynamic team that supports the operations of Crown hotels and resorts.

An exciting opportunity to work within the Crown Maintenance Department in the position of Property Services Officer – Rotating Shift  - Plumber has become available. In this role, you will be working in a multi skilled position within a small team of trades and will be responsible for ongoing maintenance and repairs of building plant & equipment/fixtures with our hotels.

In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. Responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Planned & reactive maintenance activities across the property and associated areas, predominantly in hotels
  • Always delivering exceptional customer experience whilst liaising with internal/external stakeholders
  • Completing work orders assigned as well as reporting on maintenance required through proactive inspections
  • Following established health and safety policies and procedures, and identify health and safety risks
  • Remain compliant with Crown’s compliance training, policies and procedures.
  • Operate on Crown’s maintenance portal to record and complete work orders/tasks

About you

You’ll bring the following:

  • Must be a registered/Licensed Plumber with Type A Gas Servicing license
  • Significant experience in a similar maintenance role in a large complex is highly desirable 
  • Dedication towards achieving an outstanding result and service excellence whilst working in a team as well as autonomously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain a Casino Special Employee Licence (required Police Check and Credit Check)
