Support Services provides the core Support Services of Non-ward Cleaning, Gardens and Grounds, Distribution (including portering), Security, Ward Support, Food Services and Car Parking. The position of Porter is a key operational role within the Support Services team.
About the role
We are seeking a motivated individual to join the non-clinical support services team as an orderly at Sandringham Hospital.
The position is responsible for patient transport and ancilliary duties throughout the hospital environment. Applicants should have flexible availability, including night and afternoon shifts as well as weekend work.
This role also requires good time management and organisational skills, as the main function is the provision to provide a safe environment for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
