Plant Mechanic

• Permanent role
• South Guildford, Perth Metro
• Available to work Wednesday- Sunday 8am- 4pm and public holidays

The Opportunity 

• Fault/maintenance diagnostic activities and complete repairs to ensure continuous operation
• Ability to work overtime in case of break down and plant shutdown as required
• Carry out all planned and unplanned maintenance activities
• Recommend and implement improvements to plant and work practices
• Clean and maintain the condition of workshop and spare parts store
• Participate in the development of total production maintenance system

About You 

• Full Australian work rights
• Available to work Wednesday- Sunday 8am- 4pm
• Mechanical Fitter qualification/ Certificate III in Engineering (must have)
• Forklift Lift, EWP, Working at Heights (highly regarded)
• Confined Space (Preferred)
• Restricted WA Electrical license (advantageous)
• Fabrication and welding skills (Mig, Arc and Oxy Cutting) (highly regarded)
• Experience in fitting and troubleshooting in a production / industrial environment
• Strong background in maintenance, servicing and repairs would be highly regarded but not essential as required training will be provided
• Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol Test
