Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis, providing physiotherapy services to children with disabilities or developmental delays. In this role, you'll work collaboratively within a supportive team, employing a person- and family-centred approach to assess, intervene, and evaluate services. Your focus will be on enhancing functional movement and participation in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage clinical caseloads in accordance with service provision guidelines and external agency requirements, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Deliver physiotherapy assessments, interventions, and evaluations at our onsite centre and in community settings, including hydrotherapy.
  • Achieve client outcomes through a collaborative team approach, working closely with families, carers, guardians, healthcare professionals, and education providers.
  • Prescribe assistive and therapeutic mobility and postural equipment as needed.
  • Provide an integrated and holistic service by effectively liaising with all interdisciplinary team members.
  • Develop and participate in skill-based group programs.
  • Offer information and support to parents, professionals, and other relevant individuals to facilitate comprehensive client care.
  • Utilise the Client Management System and other platforms for accurate client and funding-related documentation.
  • Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), ensuring excellence in client care.


Skills And Experiences

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent, with AHPRA registration.
  • Proven ability to manage a caseload of clients, consistently meeting service delivery goals and deadlines.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Effective teamwork skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
  • Understanding of family-centred practice.
  • Demonstrated efficiency in a collaborative team environment.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Clearance and Working with Vulnerable People Check (NDIS endorsed).

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in delivering physiotherapy services to children and/or working within the NDIS framework.
