Your role at St John of God Mt Lawley Hospital
We are looking to recruit a Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team at Mt Lawley Hospital on a casual basis.
Working as a Physiotherapist, you will work alongside our multi-disciplinary team providing physiotherapist services to patients using evidence based clinical practice skills. You will ensure practice is in accordance to Australian Physiotherapy Association Code of Conduct and SJGHC policies and guidelines.
The Position
Provide high quality evidence based physiotherapy assessments and treatments for all patients/clients, including the provision of hydrotherapy treatments where applicable.
Using patient-centered care work with the patient to develop appropriate physiotherapy treatment goals and plans for all patients/clients.
Ensure that direct working relationships are established and maintained with multi-disciplinary colleagues and internal/external customers including active participation in the multidisciplinary team meetings
Use of Evidence Based Patient treatment outcome measures and use of Patient feedback satisfaction measures and quality assurance activities
Participate in the physiotherapy department weekend roster if required.
Assist with education and training programs for students as requested
Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties arising from each session instructed. This requires liaison with the office administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.
Successful applicants will be registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), have experience in similar clinical settings and demonstrated experience working independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.

Salary: $50.33 to $70.78 (inclusive of casual loading) + 11.5% Superannuation
