About the Role

Come and join a vibrant allied health team working across inpatients, outpatients and day rehabilitation. You will have opportunities to work in hydrotherapy, group programs and on the ward with a great team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and medical staff. 

You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning with a focus on quality, safety and patient outcomes. You will work alongside other highly motivated and dedicated Allied Health staff in achieving exceptional outcomes and helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

This is a permanent part-time position offering the right candidate 45 hours per fortnight.

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
• Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice  

Remuneration

On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $38.53 - $59.82 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Our Hospital

Port Macquarie Private Hospital is an acute Hospital offering medical, surgical and rehabilitation. It has been a leading provider of healthcare for this community for over 40 years. With 72 beds, Port Macquarie Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including Bariatric, Dental, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology Orthopaedic, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Vascular, Day surgery and medical services.

The Hospital has 6 Operating Theatres, 6 Chair Renal Dialysis Unit, 28 bed Rehabilitation Unit, a 5 bed Close Observation Unit along with ward accommodation for medical and surgical patients in a combination of private and shared rooms.

Requirements

• Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
