Physiotherapist

• Salary: AHP2 $88,255 to $102,240 p.a. (Pro-rata)
• Temporary Part-time position working 30 hours per week (up to 21 March 2025)

Overview

Joining the friendly and professional team in Gumeracha, you will plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of physiotherapy services appropriate to the needs of the local community. This will include clinical service provision to inpatient, outpatient, Transitional Care Package, Rehabilitation and aged care clients, as well as overseeing equipment and functionality of the gym space in the hospital setting. As a member of a multidisciplinary including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches and support consumers through the Patient Journey by providing effective assessment and triage, timely referrals, accurate information, coordinated care and prompt follow-up. Working under reduced clinical direction, you may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students. You must hold a recognised qualification within the Physiotherapy profession, and be eligible for full membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Demonstrating advanced rural generalist skills in working with complex clients, you will be capable of working autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be committed to providing client-centred care, applying cultural sensitivity, social justice and community participation principles to the delivery of high quality care.
